PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Welcome to WORLD FEDERATION OF POWER LEADERS (WFPL).

I am Lee San-Ha, President of WORLD FEDERATION OF POWER LEADERS (WFPL).

We believe that when the abilities, experiences, knowledge, and passion of individuals are connected and shared beyond differences in gender, generation, nationality, and culture, new values can be created, and the world in which we live can become a more prosperous, healthy, and sustainable community.

There are still many people throughout the world facing difficulties and challenges.

At the same time, we possess sufficient capabilities and potential to help one another.

However, the reality is that adequate social systems and platforms capable of organically connecting people and enabling collective solutions have not yet been fully established. As a result, even a fraction of the limitless potential we possess remains unrealized.

If we can build a healthy system of interconnected cooperation—one that allows people to support one another and ensures that even the smallest voices are not ignored—our communities, nations, and the world can move closer to becoming more just, inclusive, and sustainable.

Dear Citizens of Korea and Global Citizens Around the World,

Humanity is experiencing profound technological innovation and social transformation driven by artificial intelligence (AI), big data, digital transformation, robotics, and other emerging technologies.

While these developments provide unprecedented opportunities, they also present new challenges that require collective solutions.

Issues such as the well-being of persons with disabilities and senior citizens, low birth rates and population aging, youth development, social polarization, environmental sustainability, educational inequality, school violence, youth-related challenges, and the strengthening of accountability and innovation in the public sector are becoming increasingly complex and diverse.

School violence and youth-related issues continue to evolve in various forms across both physical and digital environments, requiring greater social responsibility and stronger commitments to protecting future generations.

Technology alone cannot solve these challenges.

What matters most is our ability to connect people, share experiences and capabilities, and work together to realize the values of community and mutual responsibility.

To respond to these changing realities, WORLD FEDERATION OF POWER LEADERS has devoted itself to building a global platform for cooperation that connects people with people, generations with generations, regions with regions, and nations with nations.

WORLD FEDERATION OF POWER LEADERS originated from the International Youth Research Institute established on January 11, 2007. As a non-profit and politically neutral organization, WFPL contributes to addressing various crises arising from structural contradictions within society through its affiliated media organization, the World Press Association, and its federation network across seventeen metropolitan cities and provinces. Working together with passionate young leaders, WFPL contributes to social progress and national vitality.

Furthermore, the organization places great value on realizing “A World Together for All,” where socially disadvantaged individuals are not excluded and where participation, communication, and inclusion continue to flourish.

To fulfill these objectives, WFPL operates various affiliated institutions and special organizations with expertise in public policy research, public-sector evaluation, ESG assessment, media development, and social contribution initiatives.

Among them, the State Enterprise Commission (SEC) serves as an independent evaluation and certification body that comprehensively assesses public institutions, state-owned enterprises, local public corporations, and private enterprises in the areas of public value, innovation, ESG management, social responsibility, and sustainability.

SEC conducts evaluations based on the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI), a comprehensive assessment framework consisting of six major evaluation sectors, fourteen evaluation categories, and one hundred ten detailed indicators.

Through this framework, SEC objectively and systematically evaluates the level of responsible management, ESG capability, social value creation, public accountability, innovation, and sustainability demonstrated by institutions and enterprises.

WFPL also operates the School Violence Eradication Headquarters (SVEH), which actively promotes school violence prevention and youth protection initiatives. Through its ESG Evaluation for School Violence Prevention, WFPL seeks to expand awareness that youth protection and violence prevention are responsibilities shared by society as a whole.

In addition, WFPL continuously conducts research and policy initiatives in collaboration with specialized institutions such as the International Policy Research Institute, the International ESG Evaluation Institute, and the International Consumer Evaluation Institute to advance public policy, develop ESG evaluation models, promote social innovation, and strengthen consumer rights.

Social Innovation and a Sustainable Future

The world is moving beyond an era in which organizations and institutions were evaluated primarily on economic performance.

Today, a new evaluation paradigm is emerging, centered on public value, social responsibility, sustainability, and ESG management.

The true value of an institution or enterprise is increasingly measured by its contribution to society, its commitment to responsible management, and its ability to support sustainable development.

To respond to these changes, WFPL continues to advance objective and fair evaluation systems through the State Enterprise Commission (SEC).

Using the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI), SEC comprehensively evaluates public value, innovation, ESG management, social responsibility, sustainability, and social value creation, thereby contributing to the promotion of responsible organizational culture.

Looking ahead, SEC seeks to establish an international evaluation network that objectively assesses social responsibility, shares best practices, and contributes to healthier public ecosystems and sustainable economic and social development.

WFPL also remains committed to developing diverse social responsibility evaluation models so that evaluation may serve not merely as a scoring mechanism, but as a powerful instrument for public innovation and social transformation.

WFPL believes in evaluation not for the sake of evaluation itself, but for the creation of a better society.

Our goal is to build a society where trust is strengthened through evaluation, sustainable development is achieved through trust, and collective growth is realized through sustainable development.

Discovering and Promoting Global Contribution Values

As part of its commitment to these ideals, WFPL established the World Innovative Contribution Awards (WIC AWARDS) to identify and recognize individuals who have contributed to the advancement of humanity and shared prosperity in various fields around the world.

Moving forward, WFPL seeks to develop a global evaluation framework that comprehensively assesses public contribution, social impact, innovation, sustainability, social responsibility, and public reputation in order to identify and introduce individuals who deserve international recognition.

Beyond being a recognition program, WIC AWARDS aims to objectively evaluate and share the achievements of leaders whose contributions have advanced human society.

Through these efforts, WFPL seeks to promote global standards of contribution, encourage international cooperation, and contribute to a more just, peaceful, and healthy world.

Toward a Society Free from School Violence

Through the School Violence Eradication Headquarters (SVEH), WFPL actively carries out initiatives dedicated to preventing school violence and protecting young people.

School violence is not merely a conflict among students; it is a serious issue that threatens the dignity and human rights of future generations, as well as the future of society itself.

Through its ESG Evaluation for School Violence Prevention, WFPL works to expand awareness that protecting youth and preventing violence are responsibilities shared by all sectors of society, while contributing to safer educational environments and healthier communities.

WFPL will continue to support and recognize those who devote themselves to preventing school violence and will strive to provide hope, courage, and inspiration to young people affected by violence and adversity.

Building a Better Future Together

WORLD FEDERATION OF POWER LEADERS will continue to serve as a global platform connecting people, youth and society, public institutions and enterprises, media organizations and civil society.

Through policy research, public-sector evaluation, ESG assessment, responsible management, youth protection, violence prevention, media development, and civic engagement, we will continue working toward a more just, healthy, and sustainable society.

Furthermore, through SEC, WFPL will continue promoting a culture of trust-based evaluation and responsible management, while WIC AWARDS will continue identifying and highlighting global leaders who contribute to the advancement of humanity.

In doing so, we hope to establish new standards of public value that can be shared throughout the international community.

WORLD FEDERATION OF POWER LEADERS will faithfully fulfill its mission as a responsible pillar of global civil society and continue leading positive change in an ever-evolving world.

“A World Together for All”

We will always stand with you in realizing this vision.

We sincerely appreciate your continued interest, support, and participation.

Thank you.
