WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)는 공공기관 및 기업의 지속가능성과 책임경영 수준을 종합적으로 평가하기 위하여 개발된 통합 책임경영 평가체계이다.

 

The WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) is an integrated evaluation framework developed to comprehensively assess the sustainability and responsible management performance of public institutions and corporations.

 

오늘날 조직의 경쟁력은 단순한 재무적 성과나 경영실적만으로 평가되지 않는다. 지속가능성, 책임경영, 공공성, 사회적 가치, 공동체 가치 및 혁신성장은 조직의 장기적인 성장과 사회적 신뢰를 결정하는 핵심 요소로 인식되고 있다.

 

Today, organizational competitiveness is no longer evaluated solely on the basis of financial performance or management outcomes. Sustainability, Responsible Management, Public Value, Social Value, Community Value, and Innovation Growth are increasingly recognized as key determinants of long-term success and public trust.

 

이러한 시대적 변화에 대응하기 위하여 세계청년리더총연맹(WFPL)은 공공기관과 기업의 지속가능성과 책임경영 수준을 보다 체계적이고 객관적으로 평가할 수 있는 새로운 평가체계의 연구개발을 추진하였다.

 

In response to these evolving expectations, the World Federation of Power Leaders (WFPL) initiated the research and development of a new evaluation framework designed to assess sustainability and responsible management in a more systematic and objective manner.

 

그 결과 개발된 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)는 지속가능성(Sustainability), 책임경영(Responsible Management), 공공성(Public Value), 사회적 가치(Social Value), 공동체 가치(Community Value) 및 혁신성장(Innovation Growth)을 핵심 가치로 반영한 통합 평가체계로서, 공기업평가위원회(SEC)의 공식 평가모델로 운영되고 있다.

 

As a result, the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) was established as an integrated evaluation framework built upon the core values of Sustainability, Responsible Management, Public Value, Social Value, Community Value, and Innovation Growth, and is operated as the official evaluation model of the Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC).

 

WFSRI는 기존 ESG 평가체계의 기본 가치를 존중하면서도 책임경영, 미래세대 보호, 공공가치 실현, 사회적 가치 창출 및 혁신역량 평가를 함께 반영함으로써 보다 발전적이고 실천적인 책임경영 평가체계를 제시한다.

 

While respecting the fundamental principles of ESG, the WFSRI extends beyond conventional ESG assessment by incorporating responsible management, future-generation stewardship, public value realization, social value creation, and innovation capability into a more comprehensive and practical evaluation framework.

 

WFSRI는 6대 평가부문(Evaluation Categories), 14개 하위항목(Sub-Categories), 110개 세부지표(Detailed Indicators) 및 31개 핵심가치지표(Core Value Indicators, CVI)로 구성되어 있으며, 조직의 정책, 제도, 운영체계, 실행성과 및 지속적인 개선 노력을 종합적으로 평가하도록 설계되어 있다.

 

The WFSRI consists of six Evaluation Categories, fourteen Sub-Categories, one hundred ten Detailed Indicators, and thirty-one Core Value Indicators (CVI), and is designed to comprehensively assess organizational policies, systems, operational structures, performance outcomes, and continuous improvement efforts.

 

또한 WFSRI는 공공기관과 기업 모두에 적용 가능한 통합형 평가체계로서 조직의 지속가능성과 책임성을 객관적으로 진단하고, 우수사례의 발굴과 확산을 통해 지속가능한 발전과 사회적 가치 실현을 지원한다.

 

The WFSRI serves as a unified evaluation framework applicable to both public institutions and corporations, enabling objective assessment of sustainability and accountability while promoting sustainable development and social value creation through the identification and dissemination of best practices.

 

WFSRI는 단순한 평가도구가 아니라 조직의 지속가능한 발전과 책임 있는 혁신을 지원하는 책임경영 평가체계이다. 이를 통하여 공공기관과 기업이 사회로부터 더욱 신뢰받는 조직으로 성장할 수 있도록 지원하고, 공공가치와 사회적 가치 실현, 미래세대 보호 및 국가 경쟁력 향상에 기여하는 것을 목표로 한다.

 

The WFSRI is not merely an assessment tool, but a responsible management framework that supports sustainable development and responsible innovation. Through this framework, public institutions and corporations are encouraged to strengthen public trust, advance public and social value creation, protect future generations, and contribute to national competitiveness and sustainable progress.
