Overview of the SEC WFSRI Certification

 

SEC WFSRI Certification은 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)(WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI))와 SEC WFSRI Rating을 기반으로 조직의 책임경영 수준을 공식적으로 인증하는 제도이다. 본 인증은 객관적이고 신뢰할 수 있는 평가결과를 바탕으로 조직의 책임경영 성과를 공식적으로 확인하고, 지속적인 개선과 사회적 신뢰 향상을 지원하기 위하여 운영된다.

 

The SEC WFSRI Certification is the official certification system that recognizes an organization's Responsible Management performance based on the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) and the SEC WFSRI Rating. The certification formally recognizes Responsible Management performance based on objective and reliable evaluation results while supporting continuous improvement and strengthening public trust.

 

 

기존의 다양한 인증제도는 특정 분야 또는 개별 경영요소를 중심으로 운영되는 경우가 많았으며, 조직의 책임경영 수준을 종합적으로 평가하고 공식적으로 인증하는 데에는 한계가 있었다. SEC WFSRI Certification은 이러한 한계를 보완하기 위하여 WFSRI 평가체계와 SEC WFSRI Rating을 기반으로 구축된 통합 책임경영 인증제도이다.

 

Many existing certification systems have focused on specific fields or individual management elements, limiting their ability to comprehensively evaluate and formally recognize Responsible Management performance. 인증 대상

Eligible Organizations

 

SEC WFSRI Certification은 SEC 평가대상으로 선정되거나 평가에 참여한 기업 및 공공기관 등 일정한 평가기준을 충족한 조직을 대상으로 운영된다. 인증 대상은 관련 규정과 평가기준에 따라 선정되며, 동일한 평가원칙과 인증기준을 적용받는다.

 

The SEC WFSRI Certification applies to corporations, public institutions, and other organizations that have been evaluated by SEC and satisfy the prescribed certification requirements. Eligible organizations are determined in accordance with the applicable regulations and evaluation standards, and all organizations are assessed under identical principles and certification criteria.

SEC WFSRI Certification은 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)(WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI)), SEC WFSRI Rating, 그리고 공식 인증으로 이어지는 통합 운영체계를 기반으로 한다. 평가를 통하여 책임경영 수준을 측정하고, Rating을 통하여 공식 등급을 부여하며, 인증기준을 충족한 조직에 Certification을 부여하는 단계적 구조로 운영된다.

 

The SEC WFSRI Certification is based on an integrated operational framework linking the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI), the SEC WFSRI Rating, and the official certification system. Responsible Management performance is first evaluated through the WFSRI, translated into official ratings through the SEC WFSRI Rating, and then formally recognized through certification for organizations that satisfy the prescribed certification requirements.

Relationship with the SEC WFSRI Rating

 

SEC WFSRI Certification은 SEC WFSRI Rating의 공식 평가결과를 기반으로 운영된다. Certification은 별도의 독립적인 평가가 아니라, Rating을 통하여 확인된 책임경영 수준을 공식적으로 인증하는 제도이며, 두 제도는 하나의 통합된 책임경영 평가체계 안에서 상호 연계되어 운영된다.

The SEC WFSRI Certification is administered on the basis of the official results of the SEC WFSRI Rating. Rather than constituting a separate evaluation process, the Certification formally recognizes the Responsible Management performance confirmed through the Rating. Together, the two systems operate as complementary components of an integrated Responsible Management evaluation framework.

인증의 유지 및 사후관리

SEC는 인증 이후에도 인증의 신뢰성과 객관성을 유지하기 위한 관리체계를 운영한다. 인증을 받은 조직은 지속적으로 책임경영 수준을 유지하고 향상시키기 위하여 관련 기준을 준수하여야 하며, 필요한 경우 SEC는 관련 규정에 따라 추가 검토 또는 재평가를 실시할 수 있다.

 

SEC maintains a post-certification management system to preserve the credibility and objectivity of certification. Certified organizations are expected to maintain and continuously improve their Responsible Management performance in accordance with the applicable standards. Where necessary, SEC may conduct additional reviews or reassessments in accordance with the relevant regulations.

 

 

인증의 정지 및 취소

Suspension and Withdrawal of Certification

 

인증을 받은 조직이 인증기준을 충족하지 못하거나 인증의 신뢰성을 훼손하는 중대한 사유가 발생한 경우 SEC는 관련 규정과 절차에 따라 인증을 정지하거나 취소할 수 있다. 모든 결정은 객관적인 사실과 공식 심의절차를 기반으로 공정하고 투명하게 이루어진다.

 

Where a certified organization no longer satisfies the certification requirements or where significant circumstances arise that undermine the credibility of the certification, SEC may suspend or withdraw the certification in accordance with the applicable regulations and procedures. All decisions are based on objective evidence and official deliberation procedures and are implemented fairly and transparently.
