1. 인증 목적

Purpose of Certification

 

SEC WFSRI Certification은 조직의 책임경영 수준을 객관적으로 확인하고 평가결과에 대한 사회적 신뢰를 높이기 위한 공식 인증제도이다. 인증은 단순한 성과 확인에 그치지 않고 조직의 지속적인 개선과 장기적인 가치창출을 촉진하는 발전지향적 제도로 운영된다. 또한 책임경영 원칙이 조직의 경영활동 전반에 정착될 수 있도록 지원하며 지속가능한 경쟁력 강화를 위한 기반을 제공한다.

The SEC WFSRI Certification is an official certification system designed to objectively verify Responsible Management performance and enhance public confidence in evaluation results. Rather than serving solely as recognition of performance, the certification functions as a development-oriented system that promotes continuous improvement and long-term value creation. It also supports the integration of Responsible Management principles throughout organizational management while strengthening sustainable competitiveness.

 

 

2. 인증체계

Certification Framework

 

SEC WFSRI Certification은 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)(WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI)), SEC WFSRI Rating, 그리고 SEC WFSRI Certification으로 이어지는 통합 운영체계를 기반으로 한다. 조직의 책임경영 수준은 먼저 WFSRI 평가체계를 통하여 종합적으로 평가되며, 평가결과는 SEC WFSRI Rating을 통하여 공식 등급으로 산정된다. 이후 인증기준을 충족한 조직에 대하여 SEC WFSRI Certification이 부여되는 단계적 운영체계로 구성된다.

The SEC WFSRI Certification is based on an integrated operational framework consisting of the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI), the SEC WFSRI Rating, and the SEC WFSRI Certification. Responsible Management performance is first comprehensively evaluated through the WFSRI evaluation framework. The evaluation results are then translated into official ratings through the SEC WFSRI Rating, after which organizations that satisfy the prescribed certification requirements are granted the SEC WFSRI Certification.

 

이와 같은 체계는 평가(Evaluation), 등급(Rating), 인증(Certification)을 하나의 연계된 책임경영 관리체계로 통합하여 운영함으로써 평가의 객관성과 신뢰성을 높이고 국제적으로 일관된 책임경영 인증체계를 구축하는 것을 목표로 한다.

This integrated framework connects Evaluation, Rating, and Certification into a unified Responsible Management system. By linking these three components, SEC enhances the objectivity, consistency, and credibility of its evaluation process while establishing an internationally recognized Responsible Management certification framework.

 

 

3. 인증 대상

Eligible Organizations

 

SEC WFSRI Certification은 SEC 평가대상으로 선정되거나 평가에 참여한 기업 및 공공기관 등 일정한 평가기준을 충족한 조직을 대상으로 운영된다. 인증 대상은 관련 규정과 평가기준에 따라 선정되며, 모든 조직은 동일한 평가원칙과 인증기준을 적용받는다.

The SEC WFSRI Certification applies to corporations, public institutions, and other organizations that have been evaluated by SEC and satisfy the prescribed certification requirements. Eligible organizations are determined in accordance with the applicable regulations and evaluation standards, and all organizations are assessed under identical principles and certification criteria.

 

인증은 조직의 규모나 형태에 따라 차별적으로 적용되지 않으며, 객관적인 평가결과와 공식 인증기준을 충족하는 경우에만 부여된다. 이를 통하여 인증의 공정성과 국제적 신뢰성을 지속적으로 유지한다.

Certification is granted without discrimination based on the size or type of organization. Only organizations that satisfy the official evaluation and certification requirements are eligible for certification, thereby ensuring fairness, consistency, and international credibility.

 

 

4. SEC WFSRI Rating과의 연계

Relationship with the SEC WFSRI Rating

 

SEC WFSRI Certification은 SEC WFSRI Rating의 공식 평가결과를 기반으로 운영된다. Certification은 별도의 독립적인 평가가 아니라, Rating을 통하여 확인된 책임경영 수준을 공식적으로 인증하는 제도이며, 두 제도는 하나의 통합된 책임경영 평가체계 안에서 상호 연계되어 운영된다.

The SEC WFSRI Certification is administered on the basis of the official results of the SEC WFSRI Rating. Rather than constituting a separate evaluation process, the Certification formally recognizes the Responsible Management performance confirmed through the Rating. Together, the two systems operate as complementary components of an integrated Responsible Management evaluation framework.

 

따라서 SEC WFSRI Rating은 조직의 책임경영 수준을 객관적으로 측정하는 공식 평가결과이며, SEC WFSRI Certification은 그 평가결과를 국제적으로 공식 인정하는 인증 단계라고 할 수 있다. 두 제도는 상호 보완적인 관계를 형성하며 조직의 책임경영 수준에 대한 객관성과 신뢰성을 함께 확보한다.

Accordingly, the SEC WFSRI Rating provides the official measurement of an organization's Responsible Management performance, while the SEC WFSRI Certification represents the formal international recognition of that performance. Together, the two systems reinforce one another, ensuring both the objectivity and credibility of Responsible Management evaluation and certification.
