세계청년리더총연맹(WFPL, WORLD FEDERATION OF POWER LEADERS, 이하 세계총연맹)은 지난 2007년 1월11일 설립된 '국제청소년연구원 (구. 국제청소년연구소, 초대 대표 이산하<李山河>)'을 모태로 한 비영리 정치적 중립기구로, 세계총연맹 부설 언론기관인 세계언론협회(WPA, WORLD PRESS ASSOCIATION)와 전국 17개 광역시•도 지부연맹 및 세계 각 국가의 지부연맹을 통해서 열정을 가진 청년인재들과 함께 사회의 구조적 모순에서 일어나는 위기상황을 해결해 나가는데 기여하고 있다. 또한 세계 각국 간의 교류와 협력을 통해 사회적 약자가 소외 받지 않고 참여와 소통의 문화가 확산돼 ’더불어 함께하는 세상'을 열어 가는데 가치를 두고 있다. |

오늘날 세계는 인공지능(AI), 디지털 전환(Digital Transformation), 기후변화(Climate Change), 지속가능발전(Sustainable Development), ESG 및 책임경영(Responsible Management) 등 새로운 시대적 과제에 직면해 있다.
Today, the world is facing new challenges shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation, climate change, sustainable development, ESG, and responsible management.
이러한 변화 속에서 국가와 지역사회의 지속가능한 발전을 위해서는 객관적인 연구와 정책 분석, 그리고 공정하고 신뢰할 수 있는 평가체계의 구축이 무엇보다 중요하다.
Amid these changes, objective research, policy analysis, and the establishment of fair and reliable evaluation systems are more important than ever for the sustainable development of nations and local communities.
국제정책연구원(IPI)은 세계청년리더총연맹(WFPL) 부설 연구기관으로서 국가경쟁력 강화, 책임경영 확산, 지방자치 혁신, 사회적 가치 창출 및 공익 증진을 위한 연구와 평가사업을 수행해 왔다.
As an affiliated research institution of the World Federation of Power Leaders (WFPL), the International Policy Institute (IPI) has conducted research and evaluation programs aimed at strengthening national competitiveness, promoting responsible management, advancing local government innovation, creating social value, and enhancing the public interest.
국제정책연구원은 정치적 중립성과 독립성을 바탕으로 국가 정책, 입법 및 의정활동, 공공기관 및 기업의 책임경영, 지방자치 혁신, 지속가능발전 및 사회혁신 분야에 대한 연구를 지속적으로 수행하고 있으며, 객관적인 연구와 평가를 통하여 우리 사회의 건전한 발전에 기여하고자 노력하고 있다.
Based on the principles of political neutrality and independence, the Institute continues to conduct research on national policies, legislative activities, responsible management of public institutions and corporations, local government innovation, sustainable development, and social innovation, while striving to contribute to the healthy development of society through objective research and evaluation.
특히 국제정책연구원은 국회의원 의정평가를 위한 「WF국회의정혁신지수(WFAPII)」, 지방자치단체 혁신평가를 위한 「WF지자체혁신지수(WFLGII)」, 그리고 공공기관 및 기업의 책임경영 평가를 위한 「WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)」 등 다양한 평가체계의 연구와 개발에 참여함으로써 평가의 객관성과 전문성을 높이는 데 기여해 왔다.
In particular, the Institute has contributed to enhancing the objectivity and professionalism of evaluation systems through its participation in the research and development of various evaluation frameworks, including the WF Assembly Politics Innovation Index (WFAPII) for parliamentary performance evaluation, the WF Local Government Innovation Index (WFLGII) for local government innovation evaluation, and the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) for responsible management evaluation of public institutions and corporations.
국제정책연구원은 평가를 단순히 순위를 매기거나 등급을 부여하는 과정으로 보지 않는다.
The Institute does not regard evaluation merely as a process of ranking or assigning grades.
평가는 현재를 진단하고 미래를 준비하기 위한 과정이며, 조직과 사회의 지속적인 개선과 혁신을 이끌어 내기 위한 중요한 수단이라고 믿고 있다.
Rather, evaluation is a process for diagnosing the present and preparing for the future, as well as an important means of driving continuous improvement and innovation in organizations and society.
앞으로도 국제정책연구원은 공익성(Public Interest), 독립성(Independence), 객관성(Objectivity), 공정성(Fairness), 투명성(Transparency), 책임성(Accountability), 전문성(Professionalism)을 바탕으로 국가와 지역사회의 지속가능한 발전을 위한 연구와 평가 활동을 지속해 나갈 것이다.
The International Policy Institute will continue its research and evaluation activities for the sustainable development of nations and local communities based on the core values of Public Interest, Independence, Objectivity, Fairness, Transparency, Accountability, and Professionalism.
