Information Disclosure Policy

 

 

SEC(Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission)는 평가의 투명성(Transparency), 공정성(Fairness) 및 신뢰성(Credibility)을 확보하는 동시에 평가체계의 독립성과 핵심 지식자산(Intellectual Property)을 보호하기 위하여 정보공개 원칙을 운영하고 있다.

The Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC) operates an Information Disclosure Policy to ensure transparency, fairness, and credibility in its evaluation activities while protecting the independence of its evaluation framework and its core intellectual property.

 

SEC는 이해관계자의 알 권리를 존중하며 공개 가능한 정보는 적극적으로 공개하는 것을 원칙으로 한다. 다만 평가의 객관성(Objectivity), 공정성(Fairness), 독립성(Independence) 및 평가체계의 신뢰성을 유지하기 위하여 일부 정보는 내부 관리 대상으로 운영한다.

SEC respects stakeholders' right to information and is committed to proactively disclosing information that may appropriately be made public. However, certain information is managed internally to preserve the objectivity, fairness, independence, and credibility of its evaluation framework.

Principle of Restricted Disclosure

 

평가의 공정성과 이해관계자 보호를 위하여 일부 정보는 필요한 범위에서만 공개한다.

To ensure evaluation fairness and protect stakeholders, certain information is disclosed only to the extent necessary.

 

제한공개의 범위와 방법은 관련 운영규정 및 내부 기준에 따라 결정되며, 평가의 공정성이나 이해관계자의 권익을 침해하지 않는 범위에서 운영한다.

The scope and method of restricted disclosure are determined in accordance with the relevant operational regulations and internal standards and are administered in a manner that does not compromise evaluation fairness or the legitimate interests of stakeholders.

 

 

비공개 원칙
Principle of Confidentiality

 

평가의 공정성(Fairness), 객관성(Objectivity), 독립성(Independence) 및 평가체계의 전문성과 핵심 지식자산(Intellectual Property)을 보호하기 위하여 SEC는 평가운영에 관한 핵심 내부기준, 내부 운영자료 및 평가기법에 관한 정보는 공개하지 않는다.

To preserve the fairness, objectivity, and independence of its evaluation activities, and to protect the expertise and intellectual property of its evaluation framework, SEC does not disclose proprietary evaluation methodologies, internal operational standards, or confidential evaluation techniques.

 

이러한 자료는 평가의 객관성과 일관성을 유지하고 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)의 전문성과 신뢰성을 보호하기 위한 내부 관리문서로 운영되며, 관련 법령과 SEC 내부 규정에 따라 보호된다.

Such materials are maintained as confidential internal documents to preserve the objectivity, consistency, credibility, and independence of the evaluation framework and are protected in accordance with applicable laws and SEC's internal regulations.

 

 

지식재산 보호
Protection of Intellectual Property

 

SEC는 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI), SEC WFSRI Rating 및 관련 평가체계의 연구성과, 평가모델, 운영기준 및 기술적 방법론을 핵심 지식자산으로 관리한다.

SEC manages the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI), the SEC WFSRI Rating, and the related evaluation framework, research outcomes, evaluation models, operational standards, and technical methodologies as its core intellectual property.

 

평가체계의 독립성과 국제적 신뢰성을 유지하기 위하여 핵심 평가모델과 내부 운영기준 및 관련 기술문서는 내부 관리 대상으로 운영하며, 관련 법령과 SEC 내부 규정에 따라 보호한다.

To preserve the independence and international credibility of its evaluation framework, SEC manages its core evaluation models, internal operational standards, and related technical documentation as confidential internal assets protected under applicable laws and SEC's internal regulations.

SEC는 평가체계의 투명성과 공공성을 지속적으로 강화하는 동시에 평가의 공정성, 객관성 및 독립성을 훼손하지 않는 범위에서 정보공개를 확대해 나간다.

SEC continuously strengthens transparency and public accountability while expanding information disclosure in a manner that does not compromise the fairness, objectivity, or independence of its evaluation framework.

 

공개와 보호의 균형은 SEC가 국제적 수준의 책임경영 평가기관으로서 전문성과 신뢰성을 유지하기 위한 기본 원칙이며, 평가에 필요한 정보는 충분히 공개하되 핵심 평가기법과 지식자산은 보호함으로써 평가체계의 지속가능한 발전과 국제적 경쟁력을 함께 확보하고자 한다.

Maintaining an appropriate balance between transparency and confidentiality is a fundamental principle through which SEC upholds its professionalism and credibility as an internationally recognized Responsible Management evaluation institution. By providing sufficient information for organizations to understand and prepare for evaluations while safeguarding its proprietary methodologies and intellectual assets, SEC seeks to ensure both the sustainable advancement and the international competitiveness of its evaluation framework.
